Saifur Rahman, PhD
Chairman and Founder
Professor Saifur Rahman is the founder of BEM Controls. He is the founding director of the Advanced Research Institute (www.ari.vt.edu) at Virginia Tech where he is the Joseph R. Loring professor of electrical and computer engineering. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and an IEEE Millennium Medal winner.
Rasheq Rahman
Chief Operating Officer
Rasheq Rahman is the COO of BEM Controls. He has nearly two decades of experience in operations, marketing and finance for Fortune 100 companies (Goldman Sachs, IBM), energy startups (Opower) and academic research institutes (Yale University, Virginia Tech). He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Yale University.
